DescrIPTIon
The 940 LS light sensor is used in combination with the 940
AMA analogue module.
The devices can be used in stand-alone mode or in the PHC
facilities system for lighting control.

The installation of the PHC modules may be
carried out by authorised technicians only.
The assembly site of the sensor should
be at least 2 metres from windowpanes.
Furthermore the sensor needs to be
mounted in such a way that it points
vertically into the work surface lit up by
the lighting.
For higher side-light proportions and critical
reflection conditions, a dampening can be
achieved by the cover pipe that can be
variably adjusted.
The following points must be observed:
-
the valid laws, standards and regulations
-
the technical state of the art during installation
-
the operating instructions of the PHC modules.
-
Operating instructions can only cite general stipulations.
These are to be viewed in the context of a specific system.

a) setting of the control without daylight proportions
(evening or with closed roller shutter)
• The lighting needs to have sufficient luminance in order to make a fault-free
function of the sensor possible (e.g. 500 lux with full modulation of the lighting).
• To set up the control the lighting is dimmed to 100% by the I4 button according
to the operating manual of the 940 AMA PHC analogue module and this brightness
value is copied as set value by the I5 button. At the same time the controller is
activated.
b) setting of the control with daylight proportions
• During the daytime the lighting is dimmed to the desired value
(possibly by lux meter).
• To set up the control the lighting is dimmed to 100% by the I4 button according
to the operating manual of the 940 AMA PHC analogue module and this brightness
value is copied as set value by the I5 button. At the same time the controller is
activated.
• If the desired value cannot be set even though the minimum setting of the lighting
has been reached, then the setting is not possible at this time due to too great a
daylight proportion. Repeat the setting at lesser daylight values.

In the event of a justified and properly established claim, PEHA shall exercise its
prerogative to either repair or replace the defective device. Further claims or liability
for consequential damage are explicitly excluded. A justifiable deficiency is deemed to
exist if the device exhibits a structural, manufacturing, or material defect that makes it
unusable or substantially impairs its utility at the time it is turned over to the end user.
The warranty does not apply to natural wear, improper usage, incorrect connection,
device tampering or the effects of external influences. The warranty period is 24 months
from the date of purchase by the end user from a dealer and ends not later than 36
months after the device's date of manufacture. German law shall be applicable for the
settlement of warranty claims.
