The electronic control registered an error coming from the power unit. Switch on again and if t
he problem appears again, apply to an authorised reparation centre.
11. USAGE OF THE BATTERY

The lithium battery B contained in the backpack of the machine guarantees an autonomy of work and cut
conditions constant up to its download.
The life of the battery is around 500 cycles of charge. The cycle charges and consists in connecting the
battery charger to the battery.
We suggest to charge the battery once per day even if the battery is not completely down.
The time of uploading the battery depends on the state of discharge and it may be necessary up to 7
hours.
We advice to upload always the battery completely until the signal of full uploading has been effected.
It's important to detach the battery charger (both from the backpack and from the electric net) when the
battery is loaded.
To charge completely the battery before using it for the first time.
The battery doesn't reach 100% of its total capacity up to the first full 5÷10 loadings.
THe loading of the battery must be executed always in a closed, fresh and dry ambiance at a
temperature of (5°C÷25°C).
The battery of the machine must be recharged only using the original battery charger given.
The recharge must be done as follows:
Before recharging the battery it's necessary to disconnect the cable F from the connector 6 on

the power unit.
Then to connect the battery charger G to the electric net (with grounding system) 100-240Vac

- 50-60 Hz through a plug 15.
To connect the connector 14 of the battery charger to the connection 9 on the power unit.

The display will switch on after a few seconds to signal the state of charge.

In some cases with the battery very down it's normal that the display lighten after some

minutes.
The display and a short beep indicate that the charge is complete.

If the battery has been left for a long time under recharge, even after the charge effected, the

display switch off to save energy. To verify that the battery is correctly charged, switch on the
power unit.
As soon as possible and however within 12 hours since the end of the charge, to detach the

battery charger from the net and from the power unit.
Battery - precautions:
Do not open the backpack when the battery is loading not even when the pruner is switch on.

None of the standard activities states the necessity of opening the backpack.
Do not disconnect the battery from the power unit.

Do not disassemble, do not hole, do not damage in any way the battery.

In case of leaking of the battery liquid, avoid the contact, as damages of corrosion are possible.

In case of contact with the skin, wash with abundant clean water. In case of contact with eyes,

wash for some minutes with abundant clean water. In case of inhalation, go out and breathe
deeply. In case of ingestion, rinse the mouth and drink abundant water. In all these cases
apply to the doctor in the shortest period of time possible.
Battery Charger - Precautions:
Clean it with a dry rag without using liquids when it is detached from the electric net and from

the backpack with the battery.
During the charge, the battery charger generate heat. Do not touch.

Keep the battery charger far from flammable products or fire source.

Do not open not even disassemble the battery charger. Electric danger.

Do not cover the battery charger while functioning.

