OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Caution
Prior to putting the new unit into service, for hygienic reasons you should wipe it with a wet cloth and wash both
coverings according to instructions on their labels (at 40°C).
Before reusing the unit, make sure its surface and covering are dry!
1. Place the selected covering on a flat surface and undo the zip or fastener.
2. Insert the body of the unit into the covering to unfold it evenly. The supply cable and the control must stay out of
the covering.
3. Close the zip or fastener.
4. Uncoil the supply cable.
5. Connect the power cord plug to the wall outlet.
6. According to the selected covering, use the unit:
as a warming shoe - for feet
as a warming blanket - for those parts of the body you want to warm through.
7. Using the mode selector select the required degree of power 1 - 3. The operating indicator lights up.
We recommend starting at a lower degree of power and increasing the power, if necessary.
Note: Degree 1 shall be used for long-term operation. A higher degree of power shall be used for short-term
operation or for faster achievement of the required temperature.
8. After use, adjust the mode selector to the 0 position and unplug the unit from the mains.
Safety switch-off
After 90 minutes of operation, the unit will automatically switch off the warming function. The operation indicator
remains on. By adjusting the power switch to the 0 position (off ) the safety switch-off timer will be reset and the unit
may be reused.
Storing the unit
Unplug the unit from the mains after use, let it cool down and store it in a safe and dry place. The supply cable must
not be wound around the unit control!
Make sure no sharp folds are created. Never break the body of the unit or the supply cable.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Before cleaning the unit, always disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet!
Prior to handling, make sure the unit has cooled down!
The surface of the unit may only be cleaned using a wet cloth. Do not use any detergents or hard and sharp objects, as
they may damage the unit's surface! Do not use dry washing!
Never clean the unit under running water, do not rinse it, and do not submerge it in water!
The cloth covering may be washed according to instructions on its label (at 40°C).
Before reusing the unit, make sure its surface and covering are dry!
REPAIR & MAINTENANCE
Any extensive maintenance or repair that requires access to the inner parts of the product must be performed by an expert
service centre.
