letters do not appear, the time corresponds to the morning hours,
from midnight to noon. Always make sure the hour is set according
to the correct period so that programming is correct.
2. Programming the start time

light flash.

maker is running.
B. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
CAUTION! During use, the coffee maker releases a great deal of heat.
This is the normal operation of your Cuisinart® coffemaker.
1.Turn on the unit
• To turn on the unit immediately, press the ON button
• For a programmed start time, press the "PROG" button, the indicator
light will come on and the LCD screen will show the time set as long
as the button is held (see also "programming").
2. 1-4 button
This function lets you make one to four cups of more aromatic coffee.
Because the drip speed is slowed, the water stays in contact with the
ground coffee for a longer period, this makes a richer cup of coffee.
• Fill the reservoir with one to four cups at most (see the markings
inside the reservoir).
• Press the 1-4 button before starting or programming the machine.
• Continue preparing coffee as usual.
3. The
button or using pre-ground coffee
The coffee grinder function can be turned off to let you use pre-ground
coffee with your machine.
• Press the
button, put the permanent filter in place and add
the desired amount of pre-ground coffee. Then put the cover on and
close the compartment.
4. Brew/pause system
A valve stops the flow of coffee during brewing when the carafe is
removed.
CAUTION! Do not remove the carafe for longer than 15 seconds to
prevent any risk of overflow.
When the cycle is finished, the coffeemaker will beep 5 times, indicating
that the coffee is ready. The unit will then turn off automatically.
The insulated carafe keeps the coffee warm for four hours. The aroma
of the coffee is preserved thanks to the hermetic cover. It is not necessary
to remove the cover to pour coffee.
CAUTION! Clean the coffee grinder properly after each use to guarantee
optimal flavour for every cup.
