2.2 Unit installation and hydraulic connections

NOTE: The numbered hydraulic, cooling supply and electrical connections shown below refer to
the label on the front of the high capacity flowmeter.

1. Hook the flowmeter unit onto the corner of the
AVM2-PC as shown. The hanging bracket is
adequate to support the unit, no additional
securing screws are required.
NOTE:
Care should be taken when lifting the unit into
position as it is heavy, especially when the unit
has been used previously – the internal oil-water
cooler matrix will be full of oil and water.
1 Connect the hydraulic hoses as follows:
1) Connect to a spare metering line input hose
on the metering arm of the bench.
2) Connect to the output hose of the HB378
pressure control valve.*
3) Connect to the backleak flow output of the
pump on test.
4) Connect to the
connection on the AVM2-PC facia panel:
5) Connect to return to tank on the AVM2-PC
facia panel:
