Dear Customer,
Congratulations on the purchase of your Ligno Petit from Schnitzer, a German quality product. When
developing this mill we paid especial attention to optimizing its functionality and design. This was, helped
greatly by the more than thirty years of experience we have in the field of grain mills for household use.
Before using the Ligno Petit, please read through the following recommendations carefully and keep these
instructions for use at hand.

Material to be ground and grinding capacity
The Ligno Petit is suited for grinding all types of grain which is of the size of wheat and smaller. For milling
always use dry grain which has been stored in packaging permeable to air (paper, jute or linen bag etc.).
Seeds containing oil, nuts etc. cannot be ground because this would lead to the millstones becoming
sticky.
The grinding capacity at 80 revolutions is 30 g/min fine.
Putting into operation (see Figure)

Place the grain container (1) incorporating the grinding works on the flour container (2) and turn the grain
container to the right until it engages.
Pour the grain into the funnel opening around the crank (3), maximally up to the cross element. Turn the
handle to the right clockwise. To do so, it is best to put the mill between the knees. You can alter the degree
of fineness of the ground grain by turning the wing nut. When the nut is turned to the left the ground
material becomes coarser, when turned to the right finer. When adjusting to finer, do so only when the mill
is empty.
The ground grain collects in the flour container which can be detached by a small turn to the left.
