1. MONITOR INSTALLATION

- Prior to connecting the monitor, make sure that the power supply of the PC and monitor is OFF.
- Connect the 15-pole cable of the PC VGA port to the monitor and make sure that the screws are
tightened properly.
- Connect the power cable of the AC adapter to the monitor.
- Switch on the mains switch of the PC and monitor.
- On completion of installation, switch on the computer.
- Set the OSD controller as desired.
Please keep in mind that the LCD background lighting requires a longer time to stabilise under low
-
temperatures than at room temperature.
2. PRECAUTIONS
- Do not exert pressure to the screen.
- Do not touch the screen with your fingers.
- Avoid direct sun light and heat sources to prevent explosion of the monitor.
- Place the monitor at a well ventilated place to ensure sufficient heat dissipation.
- Do not place objects onto the monitor.
- Ensure that the monitor is arranged in a clean and dry environment.
- Do not remove the rear cover as the monitor contains components under high voltage which may
cause electrical shocks when being touched.
- Handle the appliance with care and avoid sudden blows and vibration.
- Prevent the appliance from becoming wet (which may be the case in very moist or wet
environment.)
- If the appliance is stored for a longer period of time, the temperature should be between 0 ° C and
+ 40 ° C, the relative air humidity should be below 90 % and the appliance should not be exposed
to direct sun radiation.
- Do not keep the appliance at temperatures below – 20 ° C.
- Do not use aggressive fluids.
- Clean the monitor from time to time using a moist and non-fuzzy cloth.
