The chestpieces are made from anodized aluminium.
The single-sided chestpiece, along with the large side of the

double-sided chestpiece, are fitted with a polyvinyl diaphragm.
The anodized aluminium directional binaural tubes adapt perfectly
to the listening angle of the auditory meatus. The latex-free

earpieces are of the screw-on type.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The single lumen tube is made from PVC.
The chestpiece, rings, earpieces and tube are made from assorted
colours.

Fitting and adjusting the binaural tubes
The binaural tubes are directional and can be manually adjusted to
your ears' listening angle. The branches of the binaural tubes must
be pointing forwards, thus matching the direction of the auditory

Chestpiece selection (double-sided model)
To select the desired chestpiece, gently tap this latter's membrane
[fig. 1]
with the tip of your finger. If there is no sound, rotate the chestpiece
through 180° until a click is heard.

Using the large chestpiece
The large chestpiece (diaphragm mode) is used to listen to high-

frequency sounds.
Using the small bell chestpiece (double-sided model)
The small bell chestpiece is used to listen to low-frequency sounds.

• Do not immerse the stethoscope in liquid, do not sterilise.
• Clean the stethoscope with a cloth soaked in 70% isopropyl
alcohol or moderately soapy water.
• Unscrew the earpieces before cleaning them thoroughly by
Spengler
soaking, then drying them. Ensure that no dirt remains inside.
