steam from the food.
8 Rotate the locking button through about
one turn to release the lid, and carefully
lower the lid onto the food.
If so required you can secure the lid in
position again using the locking button.
This is only necessary when grilling
food that would otherwise become
excessively compressed.
9 The food will be grilled after about 6
minutes; the precise time will depend
on your wishes. Stay in the vicinity of
the appliance to check whether the food
is ready, and is not burning.
10 Once the food is cooked, put on oven
gloves and carefully lift the lid by the
handle. Secure the lid in the open
position using the locking button. Watch
out for steam and splashes.
11 Use a wooden or plastic spatula to
remove the food from the grill plate.
12 Close the lid to retain the heat ready for
further use.
13 When you have finished using the
appliance remove the plug from the wall
socket, and allow it to cool.

1 Remove the plug from the wall socket,
and allow the appliance to cool down
completely.
2 Remove the fat tray from the
appliance. Clean it in hot washing-up
water or put it in a dishwasher, and then
dry thoroughly.
3 Carefully clean the grill plates with hot
washing-up water, and then dry them
thoroughly.
4 Clean the exterior of the juicer with the
special microfibre cloth supplied with
the appliance. Do not moisten the cloth.
5 Return the fat tray to the
appliance.
6 Close the lid, and secure the handle
with the closing clip.
7 Wrap the power cord around the cord
holder under the appliance and store
the appliance.
• Never move the appliance whilst it is
switched on or is still hot. Switch off
the appliance, and wait until it has
cooled down before you move it.
• Make sure no moisture gets into the
appliance.
• Do not immerse the appliance in
water, or in other liquids. If this
happens do not use the appliance any
more; dispose of the appliance.
• Never use corrosive or scouring
cleaning agents.
