ately pull out the power
plug. Before putting into
operation again, get the

pliance or the connecting
cable has visible damages
or if the appliance base
has been dropped prior to
this.
• Connect the mains
plug only to the properly
installed, easily accessible
socket with earthing
contact, voltage of
which corresponds to the
specifications on the data
plate. The socket must also
be easily accessible after
connecting.
• Please note that the
connecting cable cannot

be damaged due to sharp
edges or hot points. Do not
wind the connecting cable
around the appliance.
• The appliance is not
completely disconnected
from the mains even after
switching off. In order to
do this, pull out the mains
plug.
• While using the appli-
ance, please note that the
connecting cable is not
jammed or pinched.
• In order to pull out the
mains plug from the socket,
always unplug it and never
pull the cable.
• Pull out the mains plug
from the socket if a distur-
bance occurs, if you are
not using the electric kettle,
before you clean the
electric kettle and during
electrical storm.
• In order to prevent the
risks, do not carry out any
changes in the appliance.
WARNING-
RISK OF INJURY!
• Do not bend over the
electric kettle, if you open
the lid and the content
is still hot. There is a risk of
scalding due to leaking
steam.
