Micro oil-mist lubricator/standard oil-mist lubricator
With plastic reservoir
1. Make sure the relevant system part is not under pressure.
2. Exhaust the system.
3. Loosen the protective
guard (
6
a, b), if present,
and pull it off downwards
(
c).
6
4. Disconnect the sensor's M12 plug from the connection
socket on the bottom of the oil reservoir (
5. Screw the reservoir (
out of the housing.
6. Fill the reservoir with the specified oil (see "Technical Data")
until the oil reaches the maximum fill height indicated on
the reservoir (
4
).
NOTICE:
If filling level is too high, oil can reach the system and
damage it.
7. Remount the filled
reservoir and, if present,
the protective guard in
reverse order as shown in
Fig.
6
(see also Fig.
8. Connect the sensor to the connection socket on the bottom
of the oil reservoir (
7
Setting the oil amount
5
1. Set the oil amount using the metering screw on the oil-mist
lubricator's drop attachment.
2. Determine the amount of oil discharged by observing the
number of drops in the drop attachment. Approximate values:
standard oil-mist lubricator: 1 – 2 drops/min (qv = 1000 std l/
min); micro oil-mist lubricator: 10 – 20 drops/min
(qv = 1000 std l/min).
With a standard oil-mist lubricator, all of the supplied
drops end up in the compressed air system.
With a micro oil-mist lubricator, approx. 10% of the
supplied drops end up in the compressed air system.

Service and Repairs

Cleaning and servicing
W
Seal all openings with suitable protective caps to prevent
detergents from penetrating the system.
W
Never use solvents or strong detergents. Only clean the
product using a slightly damp cloth. Only use water and, if
necessary, a mild detergent.
W
Do not use high-pressure cleaners for cleaning.
W
Do not use any compressed air for cleaning (blowing off)
maintenance units and devices.

Decommissioning, Disassembly,
Exchange
Danger of injury if disassembled or exchanged under pressure
or voltage!
Disassembly or exchange when under pressure or electrical
voltage can lead to injuries and damage to the product or the
system components.
O
Make sure that the relevant system part is not under
pressure or voltage before assembling the product or
exchanging parts.
O
Protect the system against being switched on.

detection
Observe the figures at the back page.
The sensor for electrical level detection cannot be exchanged
separately and must be exchanged along with the reservoir.
Proceed as follows:
Exchanging the reservoir with sensor:
