8. MAINTENANCE

8.1
CAUTION
The appliance must be sanitised each time the filter is changed, whenever the appliance remains
unused for a long period and, in all cases, at least once every six months. When performing sanitisation,
the filter must be always replaced with a new one.
CAUTION
Until the completion of sanitisation is not possible to consume water dispensed by the device.
Prepare a 250cc of 3% hydrogen peroxide and a 100cc syringe
Close the tap. Close the pressure regulator.
Disconnect the connection tube downstream of the tap and upstream of the check valve.
N.B. never disconnect the check valve!
Use the syringe to withdraw 80 cc of 3% hydrogen peroxide.
Connect the syringe to the inlet tube and dispense the water at room temperature while the syringe is
pressed.
Fill the syringe again with the solution described above. Connect it to the inlet tube and dispense the cold
water while the syringe is pressed.
Fill the syringe again and connect it to the inlet tube.
Dispense sparkling water.
When the pump comes on, press the syringe as far as it will go.
Turn the machine off and wait at least 1 hour.
Turn on the machine and empty the carbonator.
It will take a few minutes to empty the carbonator (sparkling water).
Reconnect the tubes to the device and repeat the first installation.
Repeat the emptying and the installation operations of the appliance 2 more times to ensure the complete
removal of hydrogen peroxide.
At the end, press and hold the sanitization button until the acoustic alarm sounds to start the device.
8.2 Extraordinary sanitisation
At least once in a year it is necessary a more thorough sanitisation of the device to be performed by a
specialised technician.

8.3 Emptying of the carbonator
Close the system stopcock. Close the CO
until the water stops coming out. The unit will dispense about 3 litres of water. Also discharge the
gas in the carbonator, keeping the sparkling water tap on. When no more gas comes out, the emptying
operation is complete.
9. UNINSTALLING
Before disconnecting the hoses from the appliance, turn off the appliance and empty the carbonator.
Next, disconnect the power and remove the hoses.
CAUTION
Never disconnect the hoses before emptying the carbonator.
