Start-up
• Replace all caps prior to putting into operation.
The function of built-in device 6951 EB-500 is software-
dependent. For programming, connect a PC to the Powernet
EIB bus line by means of the ETS or, from Version 2.1
onwards, by means of the EIB RS 232 interface or the ABB
Powernet controller (6810).
Allocation of the Physical Address
• Switch on the supply voltage.
• Press the programming button (Fig. 1, Pos. 3) on built-in
device 6951 EB-500. The red programming LED (Fig. 1,
Pos. 2) illuminates.
• The red LED extinguishes after the physical address has
been programmed.
• Note the number of the physical address on device, if
appropriate, using a non-smudge pen.

of the available applications/versions and appurtenant para-
meters.
