8. Application/Use
WARNING!
Fire hazard!
When the heat accumulates inside
the toaster or you toast inappropriate
eatables, there is a fire hazard.
• Never cover the toaster and the
warming rack during the application or
when the toaster is hot due to use (e. g.
with Aluminium foil).
• Never place the bread products to
be toasted directly on the toaster or the
toasting slots.
• Note that the crumb collector must be
inserted during the application.
• Never toast the bread products several
times; they can catch fire. For "Heating"
again, use the toasting level 1.
• Do not toast the bread products like
crisp bread, rusk or similar.
• Do not toast any bread products,
which are already coated with fat,
butter or similar products or packed in a
foil or similar thing.
• Let the toaster be completely cooled
down before you shift, clean or put it
away.
• Press the stop button or pull out the
power plug from the socket if the toaster
does not switch off automatically after
few minutes or if smoke goes up from the
equipment.

Risk of burning!
The toaster and the warming rack as
well as the toasted bread products
become hot during the use which can
cause burns.
• Do not touch the toaster during the

use or when it is hot due to use.
• Always use the fold out switch provid-
ed to fold-in or fold out the warming
rack. Do not touch the warming rack
with bare hand.
• Let the warming rack cool down
before you fold it up.
• Let the toasted bread products cool
down or use the pot holder or a similar
thing to catch hold of them,
• Take out the toasted bread products
only when they have been lifted from
the toaster.
• The toaster has an overheating
protection. In case of overheating due
to wrong use, the ongoing toasting
process ends automatically. You can
use the toaster again only when it has
cooled down at the room tempera-
ture.
Toast the bread products
1. Keep the the browning regulator at
the intended level:
a. 1 = very light browning
b. 6 = very dark browning (suitable only
for large slices in case of dark bread)
2. Put one or more slices of bread
products in the roasting chamber
3. Press down the operating button
until it locks in place. The operating
button locks in place only if the power
plug of the toaster is inserted in a live
socket.
a. Press the stop button if you wish to
interrupt the toasting process prema-
turely.
4. As soon as the selected browning
level is achieved, the toaster automat-
ically switches off. The toasted bread
products are automatically lifted.
5. Wait for at least one minute with the
next toasting process until the equip-
ment has cooled down, otherwise the
