Preparing for Installation

Open the case by removing the cover screw and pivoting the cover up from the bottom.
Remove the pcb by easing back the catch (see Figure 2) and lifting the pcb clear from the
top. Slide the pcb up out of the pcb bracket.
Install two "AAA" size alkaline batteries (not supplied) in the battery holders on the pcb. Do
not use rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) batteries, because they supply 1.2V and not 1.5V.

Note:
1. When using the 735r as a door contact you must make the 9955 learn the unit into a
single zone. To do this activate the back tamper. This single zone will respond to activation
of the internal reed and the lid tamper..
2. When using the 735r as a roller shutter detector or shock sensor you must make the
9955 learn the 735r into two zones. First learn the 735r into one zone by activating the
back tamper. Next, learn the 735r into a second zone by shorting together the tamper
terminals on the connector block. The second zone will respond to activation of the alarm
or tamper contacts on the terminal block.
