Unpacking
When unpacking, ensure that the following elements are included:
1 x Portable Music Box / 1 x dual USB / LINE-IN cable / 1 x lithium battery / 1 x instruction manual.
WARNING: All packaging materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, wire ties and tags are not part of this
product and should be discarded.
Power connection
The Portable Music Box operates with a lithium battery (included).
1. Install the battery in the battery compartment, observing carefully the polarity, as per the diagram
shown below;
2. Turn on the Portable Music Box by sliding the ON/OFF switch (located in the back of the product) to
the « ON » position;
3. Connect the Portable Music Box to a computer (turned on beforehand) with the dual USB / LINE-IN
cable (included), by inserting the ends of the cable in the corresponding plugs (see the part named
« Location of controls » located on page 8 of this manual);
4. Once the Portable Music Box is connected to the computer, the battery charge indicator appears on
the screen. Let the battery charge until the indicator is totally full.
5. Once the battery is fully charged, disconnect the Portable Music Box from the computer, following
carefully the usual ejection procedure.
The lithium battery is intended for use only with this product. Do not disassemble the battery. Do
not dispose of the battery in fire or water. To avoid risk of fire, burns, or damage to your battery,
do not allow a metal object to touch the battery contacts. Handle a damaged or leaking battery
with extreme care. If it contacts the eye, flush the eye with water for 15 minutes and seek medical
attention. Do not charge the lithium battery pack if the ambient temperature exceeds 45°C (113°F).
To obtain a replacement battery, contact your local dealer. Do not expose the battery to high storage
temperatures (above 60°C, 140°F). When disposing of the device, please make sure to remove the
rechargeable battery from the equipment and dispose of it properly. When discarding a battery pack,
contact your local waste disposal provider regarding local restrictions on the disposal or recycling of
batteries. Only use the supplied USB cable for charging. Remove the battery if you are not going to
use the product for a long period of time.
