6. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. All screws for installing the devices or parts of the device have to be screwed tight and must not be corroded.
2. The housing, the lamps, the mounting supports and the installation location (e.g. ceiling, suspension, trussing)
should not be deformed, modified or tampered with e.g. do not drill extra holes in mounting supports, do not
change the location of the connections, ...
3. Mechanically moving parts should not show traces of wear and should not rotate out of balance.
4. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the device.
5. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
6. Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
The silk flame has been specially designed and hand cut from the finest silk to interact with the airflow and lights
to create the illusion of a flame. When the silk flame becomes wrinkled, you can dry iron it. You may carefully cut
loose silk strands with a sharp pair of scissors. Silk becomes frayed after a period of approximately one month,
depending on the environment.
7. There are no user-serviceable parts, apart from the lamp and the fuse (see "Installation").
8. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.

2. Veiligheidsinstructies

Wees voorzichtig bij de installatie: raak geen kabels aan die onder stroom staan om dodelijke elektroshocks
te vermijden.
Raak het toestel niet aan wanneer het in gebruik is: de behuizing wordt warm.
Bescherm dit toestel tegen regen en vochtigheid.
Verzeker u ervan dat het toestel niet aangesloten is op een stroombron alvorens het te openen.
