4. Undulating massage

The undulating massage works using a stimulation mode which
generates a particularly relaxing undulating effect and brings
together in order the working sequences from different
programs. This makes the program extremely effective. The
various bodily complaints such as muscle tensions, a lack of
flexibility or circulation disorders are treated by a single
program. Although particularly well suited to massaging the
back along the spine, this program may also be used on any
area of the body. The undulating massage neutralises muscle
tensions, calms your nerves and frees you from physical
discomfiture of every kind. Enjoy a very special type of
relaxation!
Information on the application of the undulating massage:
The pleasant undulating effect of this massage program is
generated by the fact that stimulation at virtually all working
frequencies takes place on the two channels in turn. This
imitates the technique of a manual massage which always
takes place in the direction of the venous return (i.e. from the
extremities to the heart). Particular care should be taken when
placing the electrodes in order to achieve the best possible
effect in terms of promoting circulation. To ensure correct
application, account should be taken of the following rules.
1. Use both channels (A and B). Place the electrodes either
on your back on an extremity (e.g. your thigh).
2. Set up channels A and B in the direction of the venous
return (see figure on page 11).
