4 Select an Authority Group (then jump
to step 6) or click Create a New
Authority Group if no any authority
group is available.
An authority group manages a set of
extensions. All extensions in an authority
group have the same privileges.
You must create at least one authority
group.
5 Fill in the fields to create an authority
group and then click Create.
• Machine ID - Leave this field at its
default. This preconfigured name identi-
fies the X6004.
• Authority Group Name - Assign a
unique name to the authority group. Use
alphanumeric characters a-Z, 0-9;
spaces are not allowed. Click Check to
make sure that this name is available (not
yet assigned).
• Description - this field is optional.
