TROPIC Fix child seat is designated as SEMI-UNIVERSAL Category. Fitting ALWAYS
by ISOFIX connectors In combinatlon with the 3-point safety seat belt. The child seat
is suitable fur certain types of cars, check the Compatible Vehicle Ust enclosed befure
use.

USE IN THE VEHICLE
The child seat should be used with a 3-point safety belt in combination with ISOFIX lower
anchorages provided that these have been approved to ECER16 or an equivalent standard.
Under no circumstances should a 2-point safety belt be used.

2 7. INSTALLATION IN THE VEHICLE
7.1 Using ISOFIX connectors
Please read the instructions on the use of child restraint systems described in your vehicle
owner's manual. Find the lSOFlX anchorage points In the vehicle seat.
Tips: The ISOFIX anchorage points are located between the surface and the backrest of the
vehlcle seat.
1. lnsert two lSOFlX guides to the ISO FlX lower anchorages respectively. (7-A / 7-B)
lSOFlX guldes make lt easler to lnstall the ISO-FIX connectors and prevent damage to
the upholstery.
2. Pull the lSOFlX extendlng levers on the both sides of seat base to stretch the two arms
of lSOFlX connectors respectively. (7-C)
3. Line up the lSOFlX connectors wlth the ISO-FIX guldes. Attach the two lSOFlX
connectors to the two anchorage points on the vehicle seat respectively. You will hear two
sound of "Clicks". And check the lSOFlX indicator on each side turns to green. (7-D)
4.Pull the lSOFlX extending levers at same time to push the child seat as far back as it will
go. Make sure the back of child seat is against the backrest of vehicle seat firmly. (7-E)
IMPORTANT: Complete the installation by using the car safety belts, following the instructions
referred to the different weight categories of the child.
Pull the lSOFlX releasing button on each side , to release the lSOFlX connectors from the
anchorage points.
Note: The buckle, shoulder belt & belt pads should be stored away safely for future use.
1. Follow up the section of 6.1 to attach seat with ISOFIX connectors to the anchorage points of
vehicle seat. (7-J)
1. Make su re both lSOFlX connectors are properly attached to the anchorage points. Both
lSOFlX indicators are green.
