The R-080070 is a practical wax heater specially designed for the dental prosthesis sector. It is
easy to operate:
1. Set the unit on a horizontal, firm, flat surface well away from any vibration or heat source, and from
any inflammable liquid.
2. Connect the unit to a 230 V, 50/60 Hz earthed power outlet.
3. Place the particles of new wax to be melted in the bowls (B). For easier use, the unit has 3 bowls of
different sizes. These can be used to melt different compositions of wax at the same time without
mixing them.
4. Close cover (A) and activate switch (D). The wax will be ready for use after about 10 minutes.
5. If you do not need to take out any wax at certain times, keep cover (A) closed. This will prevent any
spillages, and will keep out any impurities or particles which might contaminate the wax.
6. When you finish work, disconnect switch (D). Exercise care when handling the heater until it has
cooled down completely.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

To obtain a long service life and optimum performance from your unit, proceed as follows:
•
Regularly clean off any wax residues left in the bowls, on the cover or on the outside of the unit,
using a small spatula. Ensure that the unit is disconnected from the mains before doing this.
•
Prevent any spillage of molten wax over the outside of the unit. Handle spatulas with care.
•
The operating temperature is 100°C, the optimum temperature for melting wax.
PRECAUTIONS
♦ Ensure that the mains power connection is correct (230 V, 50/60 Hz, earthed).
♦ Do not use the unit in very wet areas or close to inflammable materials (alcohol, solvents, etc.).
♦ Do not place objects in the bowls made of plastic or other materials which melt at low temperatures.
♦ Keep the cover closed when the unit is not in use.
♦ Do not allow children or unskilled personnel to handle the unit.
♦ Do not allow wax to spill while removing it from the unit, as it is hot enough to produce minor burns.
♦ Do not pull, twist or bend the power cable excessively.
♦ Disconnect the unit from the mains before cleaning it.
