2. First use

2.1 Battery
When first opening, you need to remove the tab near the battery.
2.2 Choosing a lock function
First, choose the desired lock function. The miniK10's lock is in locker mode by default (factory
settings). To change the lock function to single mode, follow these steps:

1. Enter # (1-0-1-0-1-0) *
2. Enter 1-0 for single user mode
You will hear a long beeping sound and the green light will turn on. The lock is now set to single user mode.
2.3 First time opening the lock
You can open the lock with the factory-set pre-programmed codes shown below. When first using the
lock, we recommend changing the default factory-set code into a personal one right away.

The green light will turn on. Turn the knob to the open position and the lock is open.
