Removing the grinding container from the base unit

Switching off permanently

• Pull the power plug after each use for a safe switch-off.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning!
• Never immerse the base unit and the power plug in water
or clean them under running water!
• Attention: Hazard of injury! Do not touch the sharp-edged
blade! Handle cutting tools with care to avoid injuries!
• Clean the appliance immediately after use so that residues will not dry up.
• Remove all detachable parts from the base unit.
• Clean the base unit with a moist cloth and wipe it dry.
• Clean the grinding container and the cover in hot water with some dishwashing detergent and by using
a cleaning brush.
• All accessory parts must be completely dried before next use.
• Do not use any abrasives or solvents!
• Never use a steam jet appliance for cleaning!
• Pull the power plug once the processing has been
finished.
• Remove the cover from the base unit.
NOTE: Wait until the blade unit stands still before
taking off the cover from the base unit.
• Turn the container anticlockwise for disengaging
and removing it.
• Remove the cover from the container and take
out the contents.
NOTE: Clean the grinding container and the
cover after each use.
