• The inverter should be used indoor and not be exposed to rain or moisture.
• Never open the inverter – electrical shock risk! Repairs should be carried out by qualified personnel only.
• Always disconnect the inverter from the battery before service or other adjustment.
• Be careful and avoid sparking at the terminals when connecting the inverter to lead acid batteries. Make sure to protect the inverter
and the connections against children. The output voltage is as dangerous as the voltage from a regular wall socket.
• Never use damaged mains or battery cables and make sure to only use original replacement parts.
• Make sure to connect the inverter with correct polarity. Incorrect polarity connection can damage the inverter, which is not covered by
the guarantee.
• Do not load the inverter when connecting or disconnecting it.
Please Note! The inverter has a connection on the side panel, "chassis ground" (6), which must be connected to the vehicle ground.
Usage of the inverter without this ground connected is dangerous / personal hazard. The negative (-) DC pole and the ground terminal in
the AC outlet are also connected to the chassis.
Connect by following the sequence:
1. Make sure the inverter on/off switch is in "off" position.
2. Connect red cable to positive (+) terminal (see detail # 7) on the inverter and to positive (+) pole to the battery.
3. Connect black cable to negative (-) terminal (see detail # 8) on the inverter and to negative (-) pole to the battery.
4. The connection leads between inverter and battery should be as short as possible.
5. Make sure wires are tight connected to avoid sparking and voltage drops.
Transfer Switch (only available on 709090)
The inverter has a built-in transfer switch. This functionality allows the connected outlets to be connected to both inverter power and
mains at the same time. Whenever mains is connected to the inverter (see detail # 5) the output socket (see detail # 4) will be powered
by mains, and the inverter will be in standby mode. When mains is disconnected the inverter will automatically turn on and power the
output socket.
ECO mode
The inverter the switch (see detail # 2) can set the inverter in either "On" or "ECO" mode. In "On" mode the inverter will always be on and
deliver power instantly. The inverter will always drag some power from the battery even if there are no consumption from output socket.
In "Eco" mode the inverter will be turned on every 4 seconds to check if there are any consumption. If not, the inverter will be will turned
off. This saves approximately 65% of consumed energy in standby mode but can cause a delay before the power is available, depending
on when the inverter performed the last check.
