POWER SUPPLY
The instrument can operate with:
• 4 x dry batteries type C
• NIMH Rechargeable battery pack
OPERATIONS
Place the instrument in its self-leveling range and ensure that the bubble of the circular vial - placed near the handle
- enters the circle.
• The instrument is set to work in automatic mode by default
• Briefly press the green key (D) to switch on the instrument.
The level symbol flashes until the instrument is not self-leveled.
When the unit is self-level the laser beam starts rotating at 600 rpm.
• To change the rotational speed press the key
• 1 time: the laser beam rotates at
0 rpm
• 2 times: the laser beam rotates at 60 rpm
• 3 times: the laser beam rotates at 120 rpm
• 4 times: the laser beam rotates at 300 rpm
• 5 times: the laser beam rotates at 600 rpm
• When rotating at 0rpm, press the keys "+" and "-" (E and F) to move the point step-by-step
Rotational speed is changeable both in automatic and manual modes following the same procedure.
SCAN FUNCTION
This function operates either in automatic or in manual mode following the same procedure.
To switch to scan function, press the "G" key.
Pressing it successively the beam of 10 °, 45 °, 90 ° and 180 ° is projected
TILT FUNCTION:
While the instrument is in self-leveling mode press TILT key (H) to activate this function.
• If the unit is accidentally moved the laser beam will stop and start blinking , and an alarm sounds "beep"
• Press again the TILT key (H) to disable the function and return to the self-leveled rotation

Once the self-leveling function has been initiated and the laser beam is rotating:
• Press the CAL key (A)
• The display shows X and Y, and "X" flashes on the display
• Press the "+" and "-" keys to set the percentage value of inclination along the X axis (shown on the unit cover)
• Press the "X / Y" (B): "Y" flashes on the display
• Press the "+" and "-" keys to set the percentage value of inclination along the Y axis (shown on the unit cover)
• Press the "X / Y" (B) again to memorize the data
The laser beam stops rotating and the instrument reaches the set values
Rotation restarts using the setting data
To change the setting data, press the CAL key 2 times (A) and repeat the procedure.
• To return to the self-leveling position at 0 rpm turn the instrument off and on
Manual mode
• Keep pressed the key (D) more than 5 seconds
• The symbols (19)
is shown on the display
THE INSTRUMENT IS NO MORE SELF-LEVELED
• Press the "X / Y" (B):
• "X" is shown on the display
• Press the "+" and "-" keys to visually incline the beam up to the desired point
• Press the "X / Y" (B):
• "Y" is shown on the display
• Press the "+" and "-" keys to visually incline the beam up to the desired point
• Press the "X / Y" (B) again to memorize the data
To switch OFF the instrument briefly press the green key (D)
