10. Connect the duct securely to the refl ector fl anges.
11. Plug the cordset into the ballast.
dual BulB installation
1. Out of the box, the Raptor 8 Dual arrives ready to operate with two 1,000 watt lamps.
Adjust the cordset collar if necessary for ideal lamp placement in the refl ector.
2. Screw in the light bulbs. Adjust the lamp positi on if necessary.
3. Wipe residue off the bulbs and the refl ector with a clean, soft cloth.
4. Secure the glass lens back into the chassis and reatt ach to the ceiling.
5. Route cordsets through white rubber square grommets to seal the cord in the fl ange
cord opening slot.
6. Connect the duct securely to the refl ector fl anges.
7. Plug the cordsets into the ballasts.
CHanging tHe BulBs
1. Turn off the ballast(s) and allow the unit to cool.

2. Twist the bulb counter-clockwise to remove it from the refl ector. HID lamps contain
mercury; please recycle the bulbs responsibly. For more informati on, visit lamprecycle.org.
3. Install the replacement lamp. Wipe any residue off the glass with a soft , clean cloth.
Cleaning tHe reFleCtor
1. Turn off the refl ector and allow it to cool.
2. Lift the refl ector off its hanging mechanism. Set the refl ector bulb-side up on a sturdy
surface. Opti onal: Place the refl ector on a towel or soft cloth.
3. Unscrew the bulb. Set aside.
4. Mix warm, mild soap and water and apply sparingly with a clean washcloth.
Dry with a second washcloth. Flip refl ector over to cleanse both sides.
5. Run a dry, soft washcloth over bulb to remove dust parti cles.
6. Screw the bulb back into the refl ector
7. Reatt ach the refl ector to its hanging mechanism.
