Field of use
The product you have purchased has two fields of use; you can use it as a headphone FM radio receiver with automatic tuning (SCAN),
and/or as a wireless headphone after connecting the transmitter unit to any audio unit (TV, Hi-Fi, CD player, DVD player, PC, laptop, etc.).
Putting into operation, battery replacement
Before putting the unit into operation, insert the batteries into the transmitter, and the receiver (headphone) unit. Make sure to use alkaline
batteries and/or batteries of the same type if possible. Open the cover of the battery compartment on the bottom of the transmitter unit, and
then insert the two 1.5 V (AAA) batteries, according to the indicated polarity. On the receiver unit (headphone), the battery compartment
becomes accessible after sliding the plastic cover behind the left side (L) speaker. Insert the two 1.5 V (AAA) batteries, observing the
correct polarity.
There is a telescopic aerial on both the transmitter unit and the receiver (headphone) unit. For the sake of the best possible reception,
and/or transmission results always fully extend the aerials.
In case you experience any impairment in the signal, please change the position of either the transmitter or the receiver (headphone)!
Impairment in the signal may be caused by a large metallic object, wall, or any large object that can block the area between the receiver and
the transmitter.
The volume of the unit can be adjusted to an optimum value with the volume control (6) located on the headphone.
The headphone size can also be adjusted for more convenient wear and cleaner sound.
Radio receiver
When using the headphone as an FM radio, there is no need for the transmitter unit, the headphone itself is capable of receiving radio
channels.
Extend the aerial on the headphone, and then turn on the device using the ON/OFF switch (5), now the operation indicator LED
(7) flashes.
Prior to station selection press the Reset button (8), so the scanning starts from the beginning of the frequency band. You
can perform this operation at any time during the scanning. By pressing the SCAN button (9) you can search the
following station which has suitable field-intensity within the frequency band. By the repeated pressing of the SCAN
button (9) the device jumps to the following available station, you can repeat it until you find the desired radio
station. If you want to restart the search, press the reset button (8), and continue the searching in the
aforesaid way.
If the automatic scan cannot find any radio station, change the position of the headphone, and restart
scanning.
