Fence earth terminal. Connect the fence
earth terminal to the earth system.

Installation
Read all of the safety instructions in this manual and
any relevant government, regional and local safety
standards before installing the energizer.
Position the energizer in an upright position on firm
ground, away from flooding and out of reach of animals
and children.
If possible, position the energizer in a sheltered area to
protect it from the weather and improve visibility of the

possible to the centre of the electric fence. Ensure that
the energizer, battery, earth rods and all connections
are protected from interference by animals.
Connecting the energizer to the fence
1 Push the earth rod fully into firm ground.
2 Connect the green earth lead from the energizer's
fence earth terminal (
3 Connect the red fence lead from the energizer's
fence output terminal ( ) to the fence.
4 Make sure there is a good contact. If necessary,
carefully strip the polywire to expose steel strands
in order to provide a good connection.
Operation
Turning the energizer on
Turn the switch to .
The indicator light will illuminate green for
approximately 2 seconds indicating that the energizer is
operating and that the battery voltage level is OK.
The energizer then produces an output pulse every 1.5
seconds and the indicator light flashes green with each
pulse.
