CUSTOMER ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
LEEP System 1000
NOTE: For further details regarding the use of the LEEP System 1000 Workstation,
please refer to the Operating Manual located with the LEEP System 1000
Electrosurgical Generator.
1. Unpack the three (3) packaged components of the LEEP System 1000 Workstation.
2. Locate the box containing the LEEP Cart (6095-1), the largest of the three packages, and
unpack it by simply allowing the cart to roll out of the box. After unpacking the LEEP Cart
lock the front two casters.
CAUTION: Do not pick up the cart out of the box by its handles. The handles are
not designed to accommodate the full weight of the cart.
3. Locate the box containing the LEEP System 1000 Electrosurgical Generator, 220V (53479)
and unpack it.
Face the LEEP System 1000 Electrosurgical Generator toward the front of the LEEP Cart
and drop the cord through the rectangular cutout located at the top of the cart.
4. Align the pins on the bottom of the LEEP System 1000 Electrosurgical Generator with the
corresponding holes located on the top of the LEEP Cart in order to secure it to the LEEP
Cart.
5. Next, remove the screws on the base of the LEEP Cart in preparation of attaching the
Smoke Evacuator.
6. Locate the box containing the Smoke Evacuator, 220V (6080-1ACE) and unpack it.
7. Align the pivot hinges on the Smoke Evacuator with the screw holes on the LEEP Cart itself
and fasten the unit to the LEEP Cart. Make sure that the screws are tight but DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN.
8. Remove the screws on the side of the Smoke Evacuator and then fasten down the bracket
of the drop hinge, located on the LEEP Cart, to the Smoke Evacuator.
9. Plug in the cord running from the LEEP System 1000 Electrosurgical Generator to the
receptacle at the back of the Smoke Evacuator.
10. Finally, attach the power cord, provided with the LEEP System 1000 Electrosurgical
Generator Accessory Package, to the receptacle at the back of the LEEP System 1000
Electrosurgical Generator; afterwards connect the other end into a hospital-grade outlet to
obtain power.
