USE:
⋅ Unroll the cable completely before plugging it
in.
⋅ Connect the appliance to the mains.
⋅ The pilot light (L) will light up.
⋅ Turn the appliance diffuser to humidify in the
desired direction
⋅ Turn the appliance on, pressing the on/off
button.
⋅ Select the desired power using the buttons "+"
(J) y "-" (I).
⋅ To activate the ionisation function, once the
appliance is turned on, press the ionisation
function (F). When this function is activated the
letters "ION" will appear on the screen.
LIGHT FUNCTION:
⋅ The appliance has a light function, which
enables a light to come on that gradually
changes colour. To activate and deactivate this
function press the Decorative Light Function
button (G).
ELECTRONIC POWER CONTROL:
⋅ The power level of the appliance can be easily
controlled by pressing the buttons "+" (J) y "-"
(I). As the power increases "+" (J) or decreases
"-" (I) the power level will be reflected on the
digital screen.
⋅ The appliance displays the current room
temperature in Celsius or in Fahrenheit. To
choose the measurement, press the "Menu" (H)
button until the room temperature indicator (2)
flashes. Following this, press the buttons "+" (J)
o "-" (I) until the room temperature appears on
the screen in the selected measurement.
⋅ To program the desired relative humidity level
press the "Menu" (H) button until the objective
relative room temperature (3) flashes. Then
press the buttons "+" (J) o "-" (I) until the
desired relative room temperature humidity
appears on the screen.
⋅ If the relative room temperature humidity is less
than the objective relative humidity, it will begin
to function until the objective humidity is
reached.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE
APPLIANCE:
⋅ Turn the appliance off, using the on/off switch.
⋅ Unplug the appliance from the mains.
⋅ Remove the water from the deposit.
⋅ Remove the water from the inside of the
appliance.
⋅ Clean the appliance.
TEMPERATURE SAFETY PROTECTOR:
⋅ The device has a temperature safety protector,
which protects the device from overheating.
CLEANING
⋅ Disconnect the appliance from the mains and
allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning
task.
⋅ Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a
few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
⋅ Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or
base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products,
for cleaning the appliance.
⋅ Do not let water or any other liquid get into the
air vents to avoid damage to the inner parts of
the appliance.
⋅ Do not submerge the appliance in water or any
other liquid, or place it under a running tap.
⋅ Never submerge the connector in water or any
other liquid or place it under running water.
⋅ Periodically clean the inside cavity (M) to avoid
lime scale incrustations that may prevent the
appliance from functioning correctly.
HOW TO DEAL WITH LIME SCALE
INCRUSTATIONS:
⋅ For the appliance to work correctly it should be
kept free of lime scale or magnesium
incrustations caused by the use of hard water.
⋅ To prevent this kind of problem, we recommend
the use of distilled water.
⋅ To prevent this kind of problem, we recommend
the use of water with low lime or magnesium
mineralisation.
⋅ However, if it is not possible to use the kind of
water recommended above, you should
periodically remove the lime scale from the
appliance:
−
Every 6 weeks if the water is "very
hard".
−
Every 12 weeks if the water is "hard".
⋅ A specific anti lime scale product suitable for
the appliance should be used.
⋅ Homemade solutions are not recommended in
the descaling of this appliance, such as the use
of vinegar.
