SENSOR OPERATION
The sensor constantly monitors the awning vibration due to wind
using an accelerometer and compares it with the level set:
1.
if a level over that set is detected for more than 3 seconds,
the sensor transmits the awning closure command; the
remote control unit blocks for 60min.
2.
if a level under that set is detected for more than 8 minutes,
the sensor transmits the release command to the remote
control unit.
SAVING THE SENSOR IN THE REMOTE
CONTROL UNIT
1.
Position yourself close to the remote control to pilot
2.
If the awning is controlled with PROTEO series transmitters,
use a remote control already saved on the control unit and
proceed as follows:
a. Press the SELC key multiple times on the transmitter until
the saved channel is displayed via the leds (PROTEO6 or
PROTEO4 only)
b. Bring the awning to half height
c. Move to position ON the switch 1 on the transmitter
d. Press and keep pressed, for approx. 5 seconds, the PROG
key on the transmitter until the motor starts to move
e. Release the PROG key, the motor stops
f. Press the P1 SYROCO-RS key for at least 2 seconds (Fig.2)
g. To check correct saving, press key P1 again: the awning
must be activated in CLOSURE.
On the contrary, repeat the procedure.
3.
If the awning is controlled with ARTEMIS or ADLER series
transmitters, use a remote control already saved on the
control unit and proceed as follows:

before proceeding, select the channel saved on the
control unit using key C.
a. Press and kept pressed the UP and DOWN keys on the
remote control until the motor starts to move in one
direction
b. Release the keys: the motor stops
c. Within 8 seconds, press the P1 SYROCO-RS key for at least

SENSOR INSTALLATION

m
ATTENTION: The sensor must be fastened to the end
bar near the end of the awning to protect. The arrow
outlined on the base (Fig. 4A) must be turned upwards.
m
ATTENTION: check there are no other devices working
on the same frequency (434.15 MHz) and with continuous
transmissions with alarms, headset, etc. which could
interfere with transmission between the sensor and the
control unit.
Installation of multiple SYROCO-RS sensors in the same
zone could create the same problem.
Before fastening the device, check the radio capacity is sufficient:
1.
Open the container and insert the batteries (Fig.2)
2.
Save the sensor on the control unit
3.
Position the device in the point planned for installation and
temporarily fasten it with the two-sided tape supplied
4.
Press key P1 and check the awning is closed
Fasten the sensor to the bar:
1.
Mark the position of the sensor on the awning bar
2.
Remove the sensor and the two-sided tape
3.
Fasten base A of the sensor to the position marked using the
screws to directly screw onto the bar of the awning
4.
Insert the cover B on the sensor C and close the screw D
5.
Assemble the sensor on the base and close the screw E
