W044 remote sensor is a spare or supplemental sensor for weather stations W160, W177G1, W184-1 and W237-3, wireless
thermometer W159 and clock with projection W164.

Placing of the sensor
• It is recommended to place the sensor on the northern side of the house if possible.
• It is not recommended to place the sensor at such place where it could be exposed to permanent rain.
• Do not place the sensor on metal surfaces.
• Range in open area can be up to 30 metres. It can decrease considerably in built-up area.
Batteries
When inserting batteries into the sensor, loosen the screws on the battery door with a small screwdriver, insert 2 pieces of
AAA batteries according to the polarity indicated. Replace the cover and tighten the screws.
Setting up
For the first installation, always turn on the home unit and then the remote sensor. Set Channel 1 for the first remote sensor.
Set channel 2 and channel 3 for the 2nd and 3rd sensor.
Press the Tx button on the back of remote sensor to transmit RF signal (indicated by red LED diode under the display of the sensor)
Press and hold CHANNEL/SEARCH button on main unit to search for remote sensor until you hear a peep signal.
When RF connection is established, the respective temperature & humidity of the selected channel will appear on the main unit.
Note: Remote sensor also measures humidity but some types of weather stations do not load the data, therefore it is not
a mistake.
Low battery indication
Low battery indication is available for the home unit itself and all of the 3 remote channels. Replace the batteries and follow
the setup procedure in this instruction manual.
Batteries
Please use only batteries recommended by the manufacturer.
Please dispose of old, defective batteries in an environmentally friendly manner in accordance with the relevant legislation.
Care and maintenance
The product may be used for years providing that it is handled carefully. Here are some suggestions for correct handling:
• Please read the manual carefully before you start using the product.
• Avoid placing the units in areas prone to vibration and shock as these may cause damage, do not expose it to sudden
changes in temperature, i.e. direct sunlight, extreme cold and wet/moist conditions as these will lead to rapid changes in
temperature which reduces the accuracy of readings.
• When cleaning the LCD and casing, use a soft damp cloth only. Do not use solvents of scouring agents.
• Do not make any repairs to the units. Please return them to the original point of purchase for repair by a qualified engineer.
Opening and tampering with the units may invalidate its guarantee.
• Immediately remove all low powered batteries to avoid leakage and damage. Replace only with new batteries of the
recommended size.
• Please keep out of reach of children.

Amplasarea senzorului fără fir
- Dacă este posibil, se recomandă aplasarea senzorului pe partea sudică a clădirii.
- Nu se recomandă expunerea la ploaie îndelungată.
- Nu amplasaţi senzorul pe obiecte metalice.
- Raza de acţiune în teren deschis poate fi până la 30 m. În spaţii construite poate să scadă doar la câţiva metri.
Introducerea bateriilor
Desfaceţi şuruburile spaţiului bateriilor cu o şurubelniţă mică, introduceţi două baterii de tip AAA conform polarităţii indicate
pe fundul spaţiului bateriilor. Închideţi spaţiul bateriilor şi strângeţi şuruburile.
Reglarea
1. La prima pornire activaţi mai întâi (introduceţi bateriile) staţia meteorologică (termometru sau ceas cu proiecţie) iar apoi
în senzorul fără fir. Reglaţi transmisia 1 pentru primul senzor fără fir. Transmisia (canalul) 2 şi 3 se pot folosi pentru alţi
senzori fără fir. Pe ecranul senzotului în stânga sus este afişat numărul transmisiei (1 la 3).
2. Apăsaţi butonul Tx pe partea din spate a senzorului fără fir – începe transmisia semnalului RF (ceea ce este indicat de
clipirea diodei LED roşii sub ecranul senzorului).
3. Apăsaţi şi ţineţi butonul CHANNEL/SEARCH pe unitatea de bază, până nu auziţi un piuit – va avea loc detectarea semnalului
senzorului fără fir.
După detectarea semnalului, pe termometru se va afişa temperatura actuală şi umiditatea (dacă această funcţie este
susţinută) din senzorul respectiv.
Notă: Senzorul fără fir permite şi măsurarea umidităţii. Unele tipuri de staţii nu pot descărca datele privind umiditatea. Nu
este un defect.
Indicarea bateriilor slabe
Bateriile descărcate în unitatea pricipală şi toţi trei senzori sunt indicate de un simbol pe ecran. La schimbarea bateriilor
respectaţi polaritatea indicată.
Baterii
Folosiţi doar baterii indicate de producător.
Bateriile uzate le lichidaţi în modul care menajează mediul ambiant, în conformitate cu normele legale.
AVERTIZARE
Produsul este proiectat astfel, ca la o manipulare adecvată să funcţioneze ani îndelungaţi. Iată câteva indicaţii pentru o
manipulare corectă:
• Înainte de punerea în funcţiune a produsului citiţi instrucţiunile de utilizare.
• Nu expuneţi aparatul la presiune, izbituri, praf, temperatură sau umiditate excesivă, întrucât ar putea provoca defectarea
funcţionalităţii produsului, deteriorarea bateriilor şi deformarea componentelor de plastic.
• Nu curăţaţi produsul cu paste abrazive şi diluanţi. Ar putea zgâria componentele de plastic şi întrerupe circuitele electrice.
Folosiţi o cârpă fină, uşor umezită.
• Nu interveniţi la circuitele electrice interne ale produsului, aceasta ar avea ca urmare încetarea garanţiei şi provoca
deteriorarea produsului. Produsul poate fi reparat doar de un specialist calificat.
• Folosiţi numai baterii noi, conform indicaţiei din instrucţiuni. Nu combinaţi bateri vechi cu cele noi, cele vechi ar putea să
curgă.
