1 - INSTALLATION OF YOUR FREEZER
1 - INSTALLATION OFYOUR FREEZER
When installing your new freezer, the following precautions must be taken:
1 - The floor must be perfectly flat for the freezer stand levelled and firm.
2
- The appliance should be positioned so as to allow quick and easy access to the plug .
3 - To obtain the best performance for your freezer, it is important that the appliance should not stand in direct
sunlight or close to a high temperature source. It should also be located at a minimum distance of 15 cm from walls
or furniture.
4 - The freezer that you have just purchased is equipped with a forced-air system. However, elements such as walls
or pieces of furniture that might eventually block the air circulation - through the side and rear grill - may damage
the normal performance of your freezer.
5 - Before connecting up this appliance to the mains supply, ensure that:
- The voltage indicated on the rating plate corresponds with the voltage in your home .
- The mains socket has an earthing system.
If you are any doubt, ask for your dealer or your local electricity authority.
Remember that the manufacturer will not be held responsible for faults arising from the non-observance of these
instructions.
2 - HOW TO USE YOUR FREEZER
2.1 - CONTROL PANEL OPERATION
The control panel is located at the bottom right-hand corner of your freezer.
Watch it and you will see:
1 green mains supply signal lamp, which informs you that the freezer has mains supply
1 red alarm signal lamp that lights if the temperature inside the freezer rises above the temperature at wich the
foods can be damaged
1 knob (thermostat) that controls the inside temperature. If you turn the knob clockwise, the inside temperature
will decrease. If you turn it in the opposite direction and using a little more force, the freezer will switch off.
1 thermometer reading the inside freezer temperature.
2.2 - FOOD STORAGE
Before storing any foods in your freezer, you must take the following precautions:
1 - Clean the inside walls with a wet cloth, in order to remove the dust that may be gathered inside.
2 - Only now you turn on your freezer.
3 - Leave your freezer running empty about 4 hours.
4 - Wrap the foods you want to freeze or put them in well closed plastic bags or boxes.
5 - Having taken this 4 fundamental precautions, place the foods in your freezer, preferably near to the freezer walls
and under the load level impressed in the interior wall.

3 - MAINTENANCE

Before any maintenance operation, disconnect the plug from the mains supply.
1 - Always that you want to clean the inside freezer, at the bottom left hand front of your freezer is the drain stopper,
you need to pull stopper out and turn arrow downwards to drain.
2 - Remove the ice that grows on the freezer walls - with the appropriate spade that is supplied. You should
never let the ice grow more than 5 mm tick.
3- Condenser blades should be cleaned at time intervals that should be established by yourself according to
equ ipment installation location cleanliness.
A non-metallic brush or low pressure air should be used for this cleaning operation. Air suction occurring at
the condenser blades results in dust deposition, which can cause serious malfunction and/or loss of equipment
efficiency.
WARNING!
If you intend to clean the exterior of the appliance, this should never be done directly with
water. The presence of water or moisture on the electric circuit may seriously damage your appliance.
VERY IMPORTANT!
observe this rule may cause serious faults.
As final remark, we would like to give you an useful advice: you should never disconnect your freezer when
you have food stored in it - it is the thermostat that controlling the temperature, guarantees to preserve the
products in good conditions and economically.
