* Note: depending on the version of your product, package contents may vary.
I. Attach antenna (see image I)
Connect the rod antenna provided or your house antenna to the antenna port of your
PCTV FlashStick nano.
Note: If you use the rod antenna provided, position it as high and as close to the window as
possible. Reception depends on your location and can be impaired by steel-reinforced walls as well
as tall neighboring buildings. In this type of environment, an external/roof antenna is required.
Please connect the PCTV FlashStick nano to your rooftop antenna using a double shielded
antenna cable in order to get the best possible signal quality.
In Great Britain, in most cases indoor reception with the rod antenna provided will not be possible.
Mobile reception of DVB-T, e.g., in a car or train, is generally not possible.
To avoid possible damage from the magnetic field surrounding the antenna feet, maintain a
sufficient distance from any components that are sensitive to magnetic forces.
II. Connect to Computer (see image II)
Plug the PCTV FlashStick nano into a free USB 2.0 port of your PC.
III. Install the software
You will need to have Administrator rights to be able to install the software on your Windows PC.
If the "Add new hardware" dialog window appears during installation, press Cancel.
From the automatically opened Windows dialog "PCTV Flash" select the option: Open folder to
view files.
Note: should this dialog not open automatically, please browse to the corresponding drive.
In the now opened Windows Explorer window double click on Launcher.
From the TVCenter Welcome dialog select the option: TVCenter.
Now follow the installation instructions displayed on the screen.
After installation, you might be prompted to restart your computer. This restart needs to be done in
order for the software to function properly.
Note: Alternatively you can install the software from the optional supplied recovery-disc. To do so, insert
the disc into the corresponding drive of your PC and follow the instructions on the screen.
IV. Store the TVCenter configuration on the microSD card
If you want to watch TV on another PC by using the PCTV FlashStick nano, you can reduce the
installation time by saving the TVCenter configuration on the microSD card and then use the stored
configuration on the other PC. To do so:
Open the TVCenter Settings application.
From the navigation pan select the option: Mobile Memory and then select Store Configuration.
V. Remove the microSD card from the PCTV FlashStick nano
To remove the microSD card, first open the protective cap (see image IIIa) then press e.g. with your
finger nail or the tip of a pen on the microSD card (see image IIIb) until you hear a click. Now the
microSD card is visible and you can remove it.
To insert the microSD card, please see image IV.
