INSTRUCTIONS AND NOTES
1. Press the power button to start before putting pet food into the food container. If you put food in the container before starting the device the display will show "0", equivalent
to tare function.
2. When the device is on, once you pour in pet food Display 1 (Weight) will show the weight of the food. After the screen stops flashing, this weight will be calculated into
Display 2 (Total). The device will turn it off automatically.
3. For Display 1 (Weight), the maximum measure is 2000 grams. Beyond this limit, the display will show Err. If the display shows - - - - this indicates a negative reading. In
this case, you should place the pet bowl on a flat surface, pressing the power button to clear. For Display 2 (Total), the maximum reading is 9999g. Beyond this limit, the
number on the display will stay at 9999 g. ±3g error is allowed.
4. If the display shows , this indicates low battery power. Please replace the batteries.
5. When the device is on, press the power button once to calibrate Display 1 (Weight) to "0". Press the clear button for 3 seconds to allow Display 2 (Total) to calibrate to "0".
6. This product has 2 units of measurement. The factory default setting is grams. To switch the units, press the power button for 3 seconds to choose between imperial and metric units
(gram/lb).
7. The floor mat contains sensors and other sensitive components. Handle with care. Be careful not to drop the bowl.
8. Do not keep the product in very hot or very cold environments. The recommended temperature range for use is 0 to 50°C.
9. Use two AAA batteries. Alkaline batteries are recommended. Do not mix old and new batteries or use different types of batteries.

Q. Why are there two displays on the LCD screen? What are the respective functions?
A. On the LCD screen, the larger number - Display 1 (Weight) - shows the actual weight in the food container. The smaller number – Display 2 (Total) – shows the total amount
of feedings. The amount of each feeding is automatically memorized. The total number of feeds can be cleared by pressing the clear button.
Q. Is the product waterproof?
A. Yes, this product is completely waterproof (including the screens). It can be washed by hand. Cleaning in a dishwasher is not recommended. Drain holes are placed in the
bottom of the product to allow the water to drain out properly and dry quickly.
Q. Does the product support Bluetooth and wireless connection?
A. No, this product does not support Bluetooth and wireless connection.
Q. How long can the batteries last?
A. Two AAA alkaline batteries can usually last for two years, based on the assumption that you use
the device 3 times a day and for 5 minutes each time.
WARRANTY
During the warranty period and under the condition of non-artificial damage that
causes malfunction of the device, users are guaranteed the following three types
of services:
• Within 7 days of the date of purchase, if the YUMI Smart Bowl has a
malfunction due to non-artificial damage, consumers can choose to 1) return the
product for a full refund; 2) replace the product with the same model; or 3) send
the product to maintenance for a free repair.
• Within 15 days of the date of purchase, if the YUMI Smart Bowl has a malfunction
due to non-artificial damage, consumers can replace the product with the same
model.
• Within a year of the date of purchase, if the YUMI Smart Bowl has a malfunction
due to non-artificial damage, consumers can send the product back to the seller
for a free repair.
• Please return the product with a completed "three guarantees" card for
maintenance.
NON-WARRANTY RANGE
The following circumstances (but not limited to) are outside the scope of the "three
guarantees":
• Unable to provide valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt must be valid,
showing the date of purchase).
• The damage has been caused by incorrect use of the product, failure to comply
with the requirements in the user manual, maintenance, and storage.
• Damage due to fire, lightning, flood and others.
• Unauthorized disassembly, modification or maintenance of the product.
• Normal fade, wear and tear during use.
