Installation

Tools and equipment

A certain amount of manual dexterity is required for installation. Observe the
previously mentioned sequence of installation steps.
Before beginning, have the following equipment available:
– Phillips screwdriver, size 2
– Drill with drill bits: stone ø 6 and 8 mm, wood ø 2 mm
– Wallplugs and screws
– Measuring tape/folding ruler
– Spirit level
– Pencil
– Stable ladder
– Air hose, ø 12.5 cm, for extraction mode, or activated carbon ilter for
circulating air mode
Important!
Some tasks for the installation will be made much easier if a second
person is available to assist in passing the tools and to hold the
components.

Removing the protective ilm

The painted surfaces of your new extraction hood are covered with ilm to
protect it from scratching during transportation. Only remove the protective ilm
immediately before inal attachment of the extraction hood.
Risk of injury!
Observe that the appliance can have sharp edges on the inside.

Preparation for extraction mode

1. Press inwards the side sliding levers 12 on the underside of the hood and
open the ilter lap.
2. Set the lever 13 to de lect the air to "Circulating air"
hole in the lever, attach to the small pin.
3. Install the covers 3 in the upper and rear air discharge aperture in the
extraction hood.
