Instructions for use
Thoroughly clean all parts before using the blender for the first time.
Refer to the Care, maintenance and storage section.
Tips and advice
•
Never run the blender empty (with an empty jug).
•
If you intend to blend frozen ingredients, you must start the blender as soon as
they have been added, otherwise they might freeze together and jam the blades.
•
Do not fill the jug with hot liquid alone as the pressure build-up can be too high.
•
Never shake the jug whilst the motor is running. If ingredients get stuck on
the sides of the jug, turn off the blender and use a spatula or the like. Do not start
the blender again until you have replaced the lid properly.
•
Never blend ingredients that are hotter than 80 °C.
Important considerations
•
Use extra caution when blending hot liquids.
•
Use the interval mode (or use the manual mode and choose your own intervals)
when mixing solid ingredients or very thick liquids to prevent the blades from
becoming stuck.
Mixing solid foodstuffs into purée
•
Cut the ingredients into small pieces (2–3 cm), remove the centre cap and add
a few pieces at a time. This is better than adding everything all at once.
•
Always add a little liquid to solid foodstuffs before starting to mix them.
Then remove the centre cap and gradually add more liquid.
