Tips and advice

• Never run the blender for more than 2 minutes at a time. Let the motor cool down
for a few minutes before using the blender again.
• Never run the blender empty.
• If frozen ingredients are to be mixed, they should be mixed as soon as they are
placed in the jug, otherwise they might freeze together and jam the blades.
• Do not fill the jug with hot liquid as the pressure build-up in the blender can be too high.
• Never shake the jug whilst the motor is running. If ingredients get stuck on
the sides of the jug, shut off the blender and use a spatula etc. Do not start
the blender again until you have replaced the lid properly.
• The glass jug can withstand contents with temperatures up to 60 ºC. Do not mix
hot ingredients with ice-cold ingredients, the differences in temperature could
cause the glass to crack.
