OPERATING
Before operating make sure that the appliance, the plug and the power cable are in working
order and that all parts of the packaging have been removed
Note:
During the first use a specific odour can be emitted which is the result of the production process.
It is a normal process and it ceases after some time. Ensure proper ventilation in the room, e.g.
by opening a window. The first use of the sandwich toaster should be performed
without products.
- Position the device on a level, stable and high-temperature resistant surface.
- Wipe the heating plates (5) with a damp cloth and spread with fat.
- Close the lid (2), make sure that the latch (3) is properly locked.
- Plug in the appliance. The green control light will light up.
- The appliance is becoming heated. The red control light indicates that the appliance has
reached the required temperature.
- Open the toaster, place sandwiches inside and close the lid.
- Toast for approximately 2-3 minutes.
Do not put too thick sandwiches inside. The lid and latch cannot be locked with difficulty.
It poses the risk of the damage of the appliance.
During toasting the red control light goes on and off. Thermostat keeps proper temperature.
- Take hot sandwiches out. In order not to damage the heating plates, use wooden cutlery
or the one made from high temperature resistant materials.
- While preparing successive sandwiches, close the lid (2) to maintain the temperature.
After toasting, unplug the appliance.
