Rear Panel Features

8. Sensitivity. For choosing the input level. Choose between 775 mV (0bB) or 1200 mV. Reference
to the manual of the source you want to connect to determine the right setup.
9. Limiter Switch. Switches the limiter function per channel. The limiter prevents distortion of the
output level when it gets overloaded. When the output level exceeds its maximum an internal
adjustment will be made to prevent overloading. The limiter is specially designed to safeguard
connected full-range speakers. The high tone piezo drivers of these speakers are now protected
against distortion and harmonic signals which are the result of over steering the amplifier. When
the amplifier is used as a subwoofer amplifier then the limiter has to be switched off to prevent
damping of the extra "punch".
10. Mode Choice Switch. The amplifier can use 3 different modes: stereo, bridge & parallel (mono).
Choose one of these functions:
Stereo mode: Standard left/right stereo mode.
Bridge mode: This mode combines both amps on one channel which results in double power on
this channel. Connects the signal to the left input channel and the output level can now be
adjusted with the left volume control.
Parallel (mono) mode: This mode creates two exact same signals over both
the left and right channel. This way you don't have to connect the amplifier with a Y-cable.
Connects the signal to the left input channel.
11. Input Connectors. XLR combi Jack for connecting a signal source (mixer etc.). Both inputs are
balanced. If a balanced output is unavailable, you can also use a unbalanced one, connect pin 3 –
with pin1 mass (see below)
1= earth / mass, 2=signal +, 3=signal –
