drain openings
the drain openings allow condensed
water to escape from the container. after
installation it is very important to remove
the plastic plugs which is done by sliding a
thin, hard object underneath (see no. C on
illustrations).
Only raIl-mounted installation:
remove the 2 plastic plugs from the drain
openings on the container side facing the
deck to ensure proper drainage of the
container.
Only deCK-mounted installation:
remove the 4 plastic plugs from the drain
openings in the bottom of the container to
ensure proper drainage of the container.

installation with HRU
(HrU - Hydrostatic release Unit).

1. Mount the longest lashing strap in the
cradle's fitting.
2. at the opposite end mount the bracket
according to attached mounting
instructions for the bracket kit.
3. secure the plastic end of the HrU
to the bracket using the small shackle
enclosed (see Hammar's mounting
instructions).
4. place the container in the cradle
with the painter line at the same end
as the HrU.
5. pull the long lashing strap through the
closed ring in the release hook.
6. pull the short lashing strap through the
rope end of the HrU.
