Data exchange between computer and MDU
In the computer-based version, the Dialock system (see "Area of Use",
page 51) is administered by computer using the Dialock service soft-
ware. For data exchange with the terminals, the MDU is used and is con-
nected to the computer by means of a USB cable (see fig. 4).
Before connecting the MDU to a computer, an USB driver has to be
installed on that computer. This driver can be found on the Dialock CD.
The Dialock software applications have to be up to date (Distribution 1.32
or higher)
Important!
To prevent discharging of the rechargeable battery pack, the USB
cable should be removed from the MDU again immediately following
data transfer.
