TROUBLESHOOTING
Unit does not turn on
• Reinstall the batteries, making sure of the correct polarity (+/- terminals) orientation.
• Replace both batteries.
• Clean the battery compartment, especially the contact points.
Observed image is too dim (or too bright)
• Adjust the IR beam's intensity by turning the dial to a higher (or lower) number.
• You are too far from your subject. Maximum range at the highest setting is about 110 yards.
Image disappears or its quality is reduced (as viewed with the night vision unit)
• Turning the I-Beam up to maximum brightness (3) may cause decreased visibility or reduced contrast when
using your night vision unit in a confined location (small room with white walls, etc.). Reduce the intensity
setting.
• Try adjusting the LCD display brightness setting (on a digital night vision unit).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Keep the device away from any heating and air conditioning vents or other heating devices, direct sunlight,
and moisture.
• Always store the unit in its carrying case in a dry, well ventilated space in temperatures above +15°C (60° F). Do
not store near heating devices. Do not store in direct sunlight or high humidity conditions.
• Clean the exterior of the device with a dry, soft clean cloth.
• Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for longer than a few weeks.
