INSTALLATION – OPERATION – MAINTENANCE
PURPOSE AND USE
Adsorption driers MONZUN M2/M2.1 and MONZUN M3/M3.1 are determined for drying of compressed air of oil-
free compressors used for driving dental equipment in dental consulting rooms and laboratories.Described
equipment could be used in another areas of health care, in laboratories, food industry and everywhere where a
clean air is demanded without humidity and impurities and its parameters could be appropriate.
The equipment is designed for inner room temperatures of air from +5° C to + 35° C
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTION
Adsorption drier MONZUN M2 is proposed for the fixation to EKOM compressors of the relevant type.
Driers MONZUN M2.1 and MONZUN M3.1 are adapted for fixation onto wall and the connection to oil-free
compressors EKOM, but also to compressors from another manufacturers.
Adsorption driers MONZUN M2 / M2.1 and MONZUN M3 / M3.1 work in automatic mode of drying and
regeneration.
Drying and regeneration take place at the same time in two separate chambers. Firstly, cooling of compressed air
is done in a cooler (Fig. 1.1) with forced air circulation and then it is dried and filtrated in first chamber. Meanwhile,
it comes to the regeneration of drying substance inside the second chamber by dried air taken from first chamber
and to the exclusion of entrapped water outside the chamber..
After elapsing preset time, the mode of chambers is changed and process of drying and regeneration are executed
in chambers in reverse order.

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

Air driers MONZUN M2, MONZUN M3 are assembled at manufacturer's place directly to the relevant type of
compressor.
Installation of these types of driers onto compressors, that are already in operation, is to be made according to
separate installation manuals delivered together with the product.
WARNING !
Prior starting the work disconnect the appliance from electric mains and reduce pressure in air chamber
to zero!
When installing driers MONZUN M2.1, MONZUN M3.1 it is necessary to drill holes in the wall at the proximity of
compressor according to figure (see Fig. 1.3), to fix dowel pins and attach drier using screws.
