returned to its original position by action of built-in
spring.
3. BEFORE PLUGGING TO THE MAINS
WARNING! Check that the mains voltage is the same
as that in the machine's specifications.
The tool must be plugged only to the one-phase AC
mains. It is permissible to plug it to the outlets without
ground terminal, owing to to class II protection conforming
to IEC 60745 European standard.
Before using this tool, make sure the voltage is correct.
It must match the voltage indicated on the nameplate. 230
V devices can also be connected to 220 V mains
FEATURES
Never press the spindle blocking button, while the
tool is running. Wait until the spindle has completely
stopped
1. STARTING THE TOOL
The tool has in-built protection preventing its re-start in
case of inadmissible voltage drop.
Plug the machine in with the switch in OFF
position.
Start the machine by turning the switch A to position
«ON». To switch it off, do the reverse.
2. SPEED PRESETTING
The speed control B is designed to adjust the required
speed. This tool has a speed stabilization capability.
3. WORKING DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
- Loosen the wheel G
- Adjust required depth of working
- Tighten the wheel G.
Attention: Contact or inhalation of dust generated
by the processing of materials can be dangerous to the
operator and bystanders! Use respiratory protection!
4. DUST EXTRACTION FIG.5
The machine can be plugged directly into the
receptacle of a FELISATTI all-purpose vacuum cleaner
with remote starting control. Recommended models -
FELISATTI AS20/1200, VC25/1400, VC50/1400.
WORK COMMENCEMENT
Before starting the work it is necessary to:
- Examine the tool to ensure it is complete and not
damaged.
- When brought in from outside in winter time it
must be kept at room temperature until condensate
disappears.
When proceeding with work, it is necessary to:
- Install handles and guard in comfortable working
positions
- Check the attachment of the abrasive cylinder /
brush
- Turn the spindle carrying a brush: its rotation should
be smooth, without sticking;
- Test the tool in idle mode (also after accessory
replacement)
- To start the tool, switch it on
ATTENTION The dust guard must always be in place.
Always use protection goggles
During the work it is necessary to:
- not expose the tool to mechanical damage, blows,
drops etc..
- keep it away from intense heat or aggressive

chemicals,
- prevent penetration of foreign liquids and solids in
its interior.
- remove waste from area work
- not cover or block the ventilation slots
- switch off before plugging / unplugging the tool to /
from AC outlet.
- monitor the state of accessory (brush) and motor
(which should not overheat)
- change the position of the pivoting handle only after
the full stop of the tool.
After finishing the work
- unplug the tool and check that the switch is OFF
- clean the tool and accessories

WORKING INSTRUCTIONS

When sanding / polishing, the part being worked
must be fixed in place unless its own weight can maintain
it in a stable position. The machine should be firmly held
in both hands. Switch the machine on and wait for it to
reach maximum speed. Then carefully apply the machine
to the surface to be polished. Heavy force should never
be applied to the machine. Excessive pressure may lead
to jams, motor over-heating, burning of the part being
polished and kick backs. Use the appropriate accessories
according to the surface to polish/sand and according to
the desired results.
PRECAUTION: During operation, the electrical
cable should always be kept behind to prevent it being
trapped.
NOISE AND VIBRATION
This tool has been designed and made to reduce
noise to a minimum. However, in spite of this, in certain
circumstances the maximum noise level in the place of
work could exceed 85 dBA. In this case, the operator should
wear ear protection.
The machine's noise and vibration levels, measured in
compliance with EN60745, usually reach:
Sound pressure level,
dB(A)
Sound power level, dB(A)
Uncertainty K, dB(A)
Vibration total values a ,
m/s2
Uncertainty K, m/s2
Use ear protection!
WARNING! The vibration level given in these
instructions has been measured in accordance with
a standardized measurement procedure specified in
EN60745 and can be used to compare devices. Different
uses of the device give rise to different vibration levels and
in many cases they may exceed the values given in these
instructions. It is easy to underestimate the vibration load
if the electrical power tool is used regularly in particular
circumstances.
Note. If you wish to make an accurate assessment of
the vibration loads experienced during a particular period of
working , you should also take into account the intervening
periods of time when the device is switched off or is running
but is not actually in use. This can result in a much lower
