• The toaster should only be connected to an earthed 230 V power point.
• The toaster should only be used as described in the instruction manual.
• Never leave the toaster unattended whilst it is in use.
• Make sure that the mains lead does not drape over the edge of a table or worktop.
Make sure that the lead does not come into contact with hot surfaces such as
cooker hobs.
• Always unplug the toaster from the power point before cleaning it or when it is not
to be used for a long time.
• Never immerse the toaster in water.
• If a slice of bread gets stuck in the toaster, unplug the toaster and let it cool before
trying to remove the bread. Dislodge the bread using a wooden or
plastic utensil to avoid damaging the heating element.
