Notice!
Risk of damage from incorrectly or insufficiently charging the
battery
When using for the first time and during subsequent normal operation,
the battery can become damaged or its life can be severely shortened if
it is incorrectly or insufficiently charged.
→ Always charge the battery completely before initial use and during
normal operation.
→ Avoid partially charging the battery.
Notice!
Risk of damage to battery from deep discharging
Remove the battery from the charger when the charger is not connected
to power. The battery will otherwise be deeply discharged and become
damaged.
→ Remove the battery from the charger when the charger is not con-
nected to power.
Information!
Charging time varies depending on the temperature and charge status
of the battery as well as the ambient temperature. The max. charging
time is approx. 50 minutes.
Once the battery is fully charged, the charger switches automatically to
trickle charging. The battery can remain in the charger for an unlimited
amount of time. Overcharging is not possible.
Information!
The charger monitors the temperature of the battery while it is charg-
ing. Batteries with temperatures below 32 °F or above 113 °F will not be
charged.
8.1. Initial Operation
Removing the protective film
■ Pull on pull-tab [1-3] to remove the protective film with safety notice
from protective plate [1-5] .
■ Follow the safety notice on the protective film.
