Care and cleaning
Cleaning work may only be carried out if the ap-
pliance is disconnected from the mains supply!
This is guaranteed in the following cases:
• The main switch of the electrical system is switched off.
• The safety switch is off.
• The unit is not connected.
Note: Do not pull the plug out of the socket by the cable,
but grip it directly.
Clean all surface with a soft sponge, a bit of detergent
and lukewarm water.
Then dry all surfaces with a soft cloth.
Important: The area of the protective grille and

the area of the switch and thermostat must not
be cleaned with water!
Any penetration of liquids or other substances
into electrically live parts may cause failures or
short circuits, creating hazards for the user.

Stainless steel front

The front of the unit is easily scratched.
The stainless steel surfaces should be cleaned with a
special, non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner.
Do not use:

• Detergents containing soda, acid or chloride
• Abrasive cleaning agents (powder or liquid
• Abrasive sponges (e.g.steel wool pads)
• Cleaning utensils containing residues of the
abovementioned detergents

Anti-slip bottom of the drawer

The anti-slip bottom of the warming drawer can be remo-
ved and cleaned by hand with warm water and a gentle
detergent.
Dry thoroughly afterwards.
Do not put the anti-slip bottom back in the drawer until it
is completely dry.
