32 • Install the two remaining side lights paying
attention to the reference tabs. IMPORTANT!
The central and side lights are not identical. Make
sure that the shape and direction match before
pressing them into place.
33 • Install the upper part of the windscreen, turning
it upside-down and making sure that the 2 pins
fit together.
34 • Install the 2 side parts of the frame.
35 • Complete the installation of the lower part of
the windscreen by fitting the pins together.
36 • Press the light covers.
37 • Widen the windscreen and insert it from above
in the side guides, as shown in the figure. Push it
in place until all the holes are aligned.
38 • Tighten the windscreen from both sides inserting
the 2 smaller metal washers and respective
screws.
39 • Snap the clamp into place on the smokestack,
taking care to position it correctly.
40 • Insert the smokestack in its housing on the
windscreen.
41 • Tighten it using the 2 screws provided.
42 • Fit the rear tool box to the 3 pins of the seat
support, as shown in the figure.
43 • Unlock the cabin by using a coin to turn the
safety hook by 180° and open it rotating it.
44 • Connect the plug of the battery to that of the
electrical system.
45 • Close the cabin and secure it by turning the
safety hook by 180°. The vehicle is ready for use.

46 • GEAR LEVER. The vehicle has 2 gears.
WARNING: when removed from its packaging,
the vehicle travels only in first and reverse gear.
To use the second gear, proceed as shown in
figure 47.
47 • Remove the screw in the second gear lock (fig.
A). Turn the gear lock to the next position (fig.
B). Tighten the gear lock screw. All the gears are
now available.
48 • ELECTRIC ACCELERATOR/BRAKE PEDAL. Lift
the foot from the pedal to engage the brake
automatically.
49 • FM RADIO: Turn knob A to turn the radio on
and off, and adjust the volume. Press the 2
triangular buttons (see figure) to select the radio
station.
50 • The rear tool box contains a set of toy tools.
51 • The vehicle is provided with a cup-holder and a
blinking light that activates when the vehicle is in
motion. In reverse gear, a sound effect will
activate in addition to the light.
52 • ACCESSORY: FARM WAGON trailer (sold
separately).
REPLACING THE BATTERY

53 • Open the battery compartment as shown above.
Disconnect the battery power supply plugs.
54 • Disconnect the 2 screws of the battery holder
and remove it as shown in the figure. Remove
the battery.
55 • If you have purchased or already have a
12V/12Ah Peg Perego battery, you must remove
the plastic filler (A) pulling it off the battery
holder.
56 • Place the new battery with the battery holder,
taking care to insert it laterally in the housings in
the toy engines. Use the two screws to fasten
the battery holder.
57 • Connect the battery plugs to that of the
electrical system. Close the hood, positioning the
hook as shown above.

OTHER OPERATION ON THE ELECTRICAL
SYSTEM MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY ADULTS
ONLY.
THE BATTERY CAN ALSO BE CHARGED
WITHOUT REMOVING IT FROM THE TOY.
58 • Insert the battery charger terminal into a
domestic power socket following the instructions
attached. Connect terminal B and battery
charger terminal C. When the battery is charged,
remove the battery charger from the socket,
then disconnect plug C from plug B.
59 • Fully insert plug B into plug A, until they click
into position. Insert the battery holder. Always
remember to close and fasten the battery
compartment door when you have finished.
