IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Danger!
Electric current may be lethal! To prevent the risk of burns
pick up the hot appliance only by its handles! To prevent
short-circuits do not immerse or place the appliance's base,
power supply cord and plug into water or other liquids, for any
reason whatsoever. To prevent the risk of fire, covering the
appliance is strictly prohibited. To prevent the risk of burns
never move the appliance while in operation. Use in confor-
mity with safety requirements!
Use in conformity with safety requirements
The appliance has been exclusively designed for domes-
tic use. Do not introduce any technical changes or use it for
purposes that are not in conformity with operating and safety
requirements. This could involve serious risks!
User Operating Constraints
People who have not read the instruction manual with care,
children and people under the influence of alcohol or drugs
must not use the appliance unattended.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised.
Children shall not pay with the appliance.
The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of
an external timer or separate remote-control system.
A

Electric Current

Never touch the parts that conduct electric current. They can
produce electric shock causing serious injuries and even
death. Connect the appliance only to alternate current with a
voltage of 230 V, 50 Hz. Voltage must correspond to that found
on the designation label on the household appliance! So as to
prevent electrical injury accidents, always use safety sockets
fitted out with a differential switch.

Power Supply Cord
Never use the appliance if the cord shows any sign of damage.
Faulty cords and plugs must be immediately replaced at the
service aftersales department nearest you. Never pull the cord
against cutting edges or cornersnor get it caught anywhere.
Never let the cord hang or brush against hot objects. Protect
it from grease. Never carry or move the appliance by pulling it
by the cord. Never remove the plug from the socket pulling it
by the cord or with wet hands.

Safeguard of Third Parties
Make sure to keep the appliance out of reach of children and
animals because they are totally unaware of the dangers that
such an appliance may involve. Never leave the appliance
unsupervised when in use.

Positioning
Make sure the appliance is placed on a flat, stable surface
so that no one will overturn it or get injured. Never place the
appliance over or under inflammable materials or deformable
surfaces. Never place the appliance directly under an elec-
tric socket. To avoid overheating, make sure the appliance
is placed in a position that allows good heat dispersion. The
appliance may be used only in dry places and never near bath
tubs, showers, sinks and pools. To avoid the melting down
of the appliance or parts of the appliance never place on hot
surfaces or near direct flames. A minimum distance of at
least 50  cm must absolutely be respected. Never move the
appliance while in operation otherwise you will risk getting
seriously burnt. Do not touch hot surfaces.
Risk of Fire
To prevent all risks of fire, never place any sort of fabric, clo-
thing or other similar things close to or on top of the appliance!
Never place the appliance close to any inflammable materials.
Make sure a minimum distance of 50 cm is respected.
Risk of burns
When the appliance is turned on, the aluminum grill and
heater become very hot. Lift the hot appliance only with the
recessed grips.

Cleaning
Before cleaning the appliance, unplug and wait for the appliance
to have completely cooled down. Never immerse the appliance
in water or any other liquid and avoid any contact with these.
The other parts may be washed under running water.
Cleaning shall not be made by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised.

Repair / Maintenance
In case of problems when in use, of a faulty appliance or if
one suspects damage caused by the appliance's falling down,
unplug immediately. Make sure never to use a damaged ap-
pliance. It is strictly prohibited to introduce foreign objects into
the appliance or to open the casing. Repairs may be made
only by the official service aftersales department. We assume
no responsibility in case of damage caused by repairs carried
out by unqualified personnel.
User maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised.
